WHAT IF YOU’RE NOT BROKEN?

What If You Adapted?

The symptoms, patterns and behaviours you’re struggling with may not be random problems to fix. They may be adaptations that once made sense.

Understand your adaptations. Readapt. Find your way back to yourself.

What if the things you’re struggling with are not random problems to fix, but adaptations that once made sense?

Your body and mind are constantly adapting to what you experience. Sometimes those adaptations are obvious. Others happen so gradually, or so early in life, that you don’t even realise they’re there.

Exhaustion. Brain fog. Digestive issues. Chronic tension. Feeling anxious or overwhelmed. People-pleasing. Perfectionism. Overworking. Finding it impossible to slow down. Always putting everyone else first

We often treat these as separate problems, something to fix, suppress, overcome or push through.

But what if, instead of asking “What’s wrong with me?”, you began asking:

“What might I have adapted to?”

An adaptation may have developed because, at some point, it helped you cope, belong, feel safe, keep going or meet the demands placed upon you. But an adaptation that once served you can continue long after the circumstances that created it have changed.

And when that happens, your body, behaviours and beliefs can keep responding to a life you are no longer living.

Understanding this changes where you begin.

Instead of fighting yourself, you become curious about yourself.

Instead of seeing your symptoms and patterns as evidence that something is wrong with you, you can begin to understand what they may be trying to show you.

Because when you understand how you adapted, you can begin to choose how you want to live now.

Speaking

Thought-provoking talks that challenge conventional thinking about health, human behaviour and the adaptations that shape our lives.

I suffered with bowel problems for 50 years that no doctor, investigation or pill could help. I had one session with Sarah and within a week, my whole digestive tract felt relaxed.

Working with Sarah has radically changed my life and health. As a retired Nurse, I never believed that my body could heal a condition that I have lived with for decades but here I am, healing.

Sarah’s approach is bold but it changed my mindset about the way I view health. I may battle a condition but I am not sick.

Sarah is one of the most authentic and caring people I have ever worked with.

Sarah has given me the key to free and heal myself. Her desire to help others is genuine and heartfelt.

I am excited and encouraged to continue to discover a new me and finally to believe I can heal after working with Sarah.

Sarah listened to me and showed me where I was telling myself a negative story. I have since healed the diabetes I was told I couldn’t.

After a session with Sarah, I realised how my past was running my life. She helped me to understand it and change my life.

I didn’t want to acknowledge that I was living in victim mode. Sarah helped me to see this compassionately and work towards reframing my life and thoughts.
